I’m sorry but your wording of events leading your spectacular 180degree spin fall made me laugh😹. We were definitely “tougher” in previous days weren’t we. Hope you have a wonderful time in Fife with Fiona. Xx
Oh Andrew-this is glorious. And lang may you continue to find your admirable good grace and humour to banish the sinister invader back from whence it came. The sleekit wee
f—ker. Xx
PS Pack your best windproofs and duvet jackets. It’s a wee bit rrrraw in Da Bonnie at present.
Thank you Andrew. It took me right back to my primary school days, though I headed West at the end of the school day. I recall we enhanced the sliding experience on the Bankwell Road slope by emptying buckets of water on the pavement, which promptly froze. Strangely enough, not all the neighbours thought that was a good idea. Maybe meet up in the coming months? Best wishes, Bill
Hi Bill. Thanks for reading my Substack nonsense. That's hilarious about actually adding water to make it even more treacherous. And Bankwell Road was pretty steep. Would love to meet up soon. I see you're retired now. Not jealous. Not jealous at all...
Always a joy when your missives drop into my inbox. Hope you have a relaxing and productive time in Scotland. Sorry to hear of those unwelcome invaders - hope you can drive them out successfully.
Funny and clever, that’s our dad xo
